I came here to work for the week and found myself one of the few Americans privileged enough to have the pleasure of encountering the owner and his son of this wonderful restaurant. They were, truly, the friendliest and warmest Germans I have ever encountered! The food was amazing. The atmosphere felt authentic and the view here is very nostalgic. I most highly recommend it. And the ice cream is homemade, and it’s wonderful. For such a rather lonesome town, I found this restaurant and its people to be the best this place has to offer!

The food was really very good, plentiful and beautifully prepared. Food was ready after 15 minutes and the price was appropriate. Waitress was friendly. It's clean. We were very satisfied.

We ate there twice, once for an ice cream sundae and once for dinner. The service was very friendly and attentive. Our 2 dogs immediately got a water bowl. The food was good and the portions were very large. The terrace is protected from the wind and large parasols provide shade. Gladly again!
